AwesomeRock.com is designed to help
promote unsigned bands as well as help fans discover new
bands. To become a member, all you need to do is
sign up for the mailing list and give us your website with
your band's MP3s if you are in a band. If you are
selected as the Band Of The Week, thousands of music fans
will find out about your band through our weekly mailing
and on our website. If you like discovering new
bands, this is a great way to discover a new band each
week.
We decided to change the format a little bit. The website should be
updated every week from now on. We are having a special promotion where
you can become the Promo artist of the week for free just for referring some
people to our website. The details are at the Promo
Artists section
Also, if you ever email us and don't hear back, please check your junk e-mail
folder because it sometimes appears there for some reason.

Throughout the month of February, we will be giving away sets of 3 guitar
picks with 'AwesomeRock.com' on them to 100 random members. If you get an email
saying that you were selected, just reply back with your mailing address and we
will send the picks out to you!

As most of you are well aware by now, MP3.com will be closing on December 2,
2003. If you are in a band and want to sign up, please make sure your
songs are hosted somewhere else.

We have been experiencing technical difficulties
lately so we haven't been able to update the website. Also, our
email wasn't working so if you emailed us, we didn't get it. Everything
should be back to normal now. Good News! You can now get your

Thanks to all the bands who have signed
up so far! The site is growing slower than expected,
so we decided to delay the first Band of the Week.
Right now, it is tentatively set for May 25th, but it may
be earlier. We are currently working on re-designing
the website, so expect to see a new and improved website
within the next month or so. If you are willing to
help design the site or design graphics in exchange for
advertising, please email us. Also, if you have any
ideas on how to design the site or help promote the site,
please contact us.
